Foshan, China - 2025/03/24 - Foshan Aogao Building Material Co., Ltd. (AOGAO) recently announced that its innovatively developed high-performance exterior wall cladding system has been successfully applied in the "Seaport City" coastal commercial complex project. This collaboration marks a significant expansion of AOGAO's product line from indoor restroom partitions to building exterior materials.
The "Seaport City" commercial complex, located in a coastal city, faces severe environmental challenges, including high humidity, salt spray corrosion, and strong UV radiation. The project contractor, Excel Construction Group, after multiple rounds of evaluation, ultimately selected AOGAO's composite WPC (Wood-Plastic Composite) exterior wall cladding system, recognizing its exceptional weather resistance and environmental properties.
"Exterior wall materials for coastal buildings must meet three key requirements: aesthetics, durability, and low maintenance," said Zhang Wei, Project Director at Excel Construction Group. "AOGAO's exterior cladding not only offers a variety of textures that mimic natural wood but also ensures long-term color stability with its anti-corrosion and UV-resistant properties."
For this project, AOGAO custom-developed deep sea gray-toned cladding using a special co-extrusion production process. The surface wear layer effectively resists erosion caused by climate changes. The concealed installation system not only enhances the overall aesthetics but also ensures excellent ventilation and drainage performance.
"This collaboration demonstrates our strength in new material R&D," said Engineer Wang, R&D Director at AOGAO. "We specifically optimized the material's thermal expansion coefficient and impact resistance for outdoor environments, ensuring stable performance even under extreme weather conditions."
The project is expected to be completed by the end of 2024, becoming another landmark case for AOGAO in the field of exterior building materials.
